Kaiser Chiefs

Leeds-based legends the Kaiser Chiefs originally formed in 2000 as Parva, and released one studio album, ‘22’ in 2003.

The band then renamed themselves to become the Kaiser Chiefs, inspired by new wave and punk rock, and have now released seven studio albums and many singles. Their song ‘Ruby’ became a number one hit in the UK in 2007 and sold over 461,000 copies, from their platinum album ‘Yours Truly, Angry Mob’.

Kaiser Chief singles including ‘Ruby’, ‘I Predict a Riot’, ‘Everyday I Love You Less and Less’, ‘Never Miss a Beat’, and ‘Oh My God’, combined, had seen a total of 1.1 million sales by August 2012.

They’ve been nominated for and won a host of awards, including, Brit Awards, BT Digital Music Awards, Q Awards, Ivor Novello Awards, and NME Awards.
