Synthpop Hot Chip were formed in London in 2000, and their second album, ‘The Warning’ released in 2006 was nominated for the Mercury Prize.
Meanwhile, their third album ‘Made in the Dark’ featured ‘Ready for the Floor’ which was nominated for the Best Dance Recording Grammy Award.
Awards won include Independent Video of the Year at the AIM Independent Music Awards, Video of the Year, and Most Fun Video at the Antville Music Video Awards, and Best Editing in a Dance Video, Best Dance Video, and Best Dance/Electronic Video – UK in the UK Music Video Awards.
