Jungle, drum and bass, and breakbeat hardcore legend, Goldie, was originally known for his work as a graffiti artist, before he started to gain exposure as a musician in the 1990s.
He began by working under the name Rufige Kru, and became one of the founders of the Metalheadz label. He went on to release albums under his own name, such as the 1995 album ‘Timeless’ which entered the charts at number seven.
Goldie’s also been featured in films, including, James Bond’s The Word Is Not Enough and Snatch, as well as TV shows such as Eastenders, Celebrity Big Brother, and Strictly Come Dancing.
We loved having Goldie join us here at The Dead Famous in Newquay—find out more about our upcoming artists, here.
