Calvin Harris

Scottish DJ, record producer, singer, and songwriter, Calvin Harris, first made his name known internationally in 2012. While he’d originally focused on self-sung projects, his third album, ‘18 months’, featured other artists, including Rihanna for ‘We Found Love’.

Before this, Harris’ debut studio album ‘I Created Disco’ out in 2007 saw him gain UK recognition with songs such as ‘The Girls’ and ‘Acceptable in the 80s’—both of these singles reached the UK top 10. His second studio album, ‘Ready for the Weekend’ and lead single ‘I’m Not Alone’ became Calvin’s first song to top the UK Singles Chart.

In October 2014, Harris became the UK’s first solo artist to register more than one billion streams on Spotify. He’s snagged over 18 Brit Award nominations, winning British Single of the Year and British Producer of the Year in 2019. Calvin Harris has also received five Grammy nominations and won Best Music Video in 2013. He’s also topped Forbes’ list of the world’s most highly paid DJs for six years in a row (2013-2018).
